So I'm reading this book- From Eagle to Chicken and Back. I am a slow reader. You, Mark Schowalter, you are an author. Although, I do wish you were sitting next to me as I read your book. Why? Because sometimes it makes me want to hug you, or cry with you, or laugh with you, or even slap you silly, but it always makes me want to read on. As I read it I feel like I have known you for years. You are painfully honest in the book and so much of your story is "every mans" story. Yet so much of it is so far beyond our comprehension, so intangible, so illusive that we could never claim it or want to claim it as our own...yet we can all somehow relate to it, learn so much from it, and maybe even sympathize with it. No matter the depth, it touches one and all. You write from your heart. That giant Schowalter heart of yours. To share this story, your story, is to open yourself, your true self, up to all. This is what we should all aspire to. You truly do walk the walk and talk the talk Mark P. Schowalter. Amazing. I thank you. Annie
